I have been a child protective services investigator for the office of child safety for the past 9 years. Through my work experience, the Lord has opened my eyes in a very real way to the children who are suffering in our community. I have seen my share of trials and tribulations, poverty and drugs, despair and destruction. I have worked with families who have been torn apart as a result of drugs and poverty. It saddens me to see drugs and poverty claiming the lives of parents, children, and families generation after generation. The CYCLE of despair and hopelessness will stop with this generation.
